Fall Out Boy is an American rock band from Wilmette, Illinois, consisting of Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, Andy Hurley and Joe Trohman.

So Much (For) Stardust (2023-present)

On December 25, 2022, the band released a video titled "A Claymation Fall Out Boy Celebration", hinting at new music.[2]

On January 11, 2023, Oli Sykes, the lead singer of Bring Me the Horizon, revealed he'd been sent a package by Fall Out Boy. The package contained a pink seashell, labeled 1 of 13, along with a piece of paper with the phrase "Love from the Other Side" on it.[3] The band placed a total of twelve other packages containing the same format of Sykes' around the world as a way of revealing song titles.

On January 12, they announced that “Love from the Other Side” would be released on January 18.[4] On January 18, the band announced the title and release date of their eighth studio album.[5] On January 23, they announced that "Heartbreak Feels So Good" would be released on January 25.[6]

On March 3, they revealed the album's track listing.[7] On June 28, following the release of "We Didn't Start the Fire", the song became a bonus track on the album via streaming services.

On April 12, 2024, they announced that they'd be returning to China to perform a mini tour after having not been to the country since 2018.[8] On June 11, they announced they'd be returning to Mexico to perform two shows, with Jimmy Eat World as an opening act.[9]
